From Hero plan

Your new team member: Hero Bot

With its own profile, seat, and clearly defined permissions, Hero Bot works like a colleague in your workspace. It does not just answer: it builds protocols, processes measurement data, and organises tasks and submissions.

Hero Bot from the Hero plan · Super Hero AI is the premium offer · token usage tracked per workspace

Around 80 tools

Real actions, not answers

Two control paths

App chat and MCP clients

One permission model

Role and asker ceiling

Two access paths. One secure team member.

Connect your AI

Talk directly to Hero Bot in ProtocolHero or control it through your MCP-enabled AI client. Both paths use the same tools, roles, and safeguards.

Your new workspace team member

Send a direct message, @mention it in a channel, or leave a voice message. You can see when it is typing, and it replies like a colleague.

Connect Cursor, ChatGPT & more

Cursor, Codex, Claude, ChatGPT, and other clients connect with a bot token. Your existing AI can control ProtocolHero remotely — within exactly the same permissions.

Around 80 verified tools

It does real work

Hero Bot builds protocols, fills inspection tables from measurement data, schedules tasks and appointments with conflict warnings, and manages submissions.

Build protocols

Create, instantiate from templates, build multi-page structures, edit blocks, duplicate, publish, and restore.

Map measurement data row by row

Assign CSV and table data down to each circuit row. If mapping is ambiguous, the bot asks instead of guessing.

Process submissions

Filter, read, create, comment, assign, review, and submit — including status, history, and aggregated statistics.

Tasks, boards, and calendar

Manage tasks and appointments, move cards, complete checklists, query workload, and detect calendar conflicts.

Work in team chat

Understand channels, DMs, and threads, format replies, mention people, read attachments, and manage its own messages.

Understand the organisation

Resolve members, inspect its own permissions, manage workspace tags, and read saved views.

Automations

Define what should happen, when, and how — such as a review every morning at 8. If something goes wrong, the agent pauses itself instead of continuing blindly.

Security is not an add-on

Security built in

The Hero Bot can only do what its role allows — and only what the person asking could see and perform themselves. Consequential actions require personal approval.

Caution mode

Permanent deletion, final submission, publishing, or removing board structures first produces an approval card for the person who gave the command.

Access list per bot

Only owners, selected people, or the whole workspace can issue commands. Unauthorised users gain no indirect access.

The asker ceiling

The effective permission is always the intersection of bot rights and asker rights. Private tasks and protected submissions remain protected.

Controlled MCP access

Tokens are shown fully only once and remain identifiable by prefix. External AI clients never receive a more powerful path than the bot itself.

Audit-ready with SHA-256

Permitted files are checked by their actual content during upload and receive a live SHA-256 fingerprint. Macro and executable formats remain blocked.

Transparent usage

Token usage is tracked per workspace, keeping usage transparent and creating the basis for fair usage-based pricing later.

Built for daily work

Six jobs that save time immediately

1Measurement-data autopilot

Upload the tester CSV in chat and name the matching inspection protocol. Hero Bot maps the measurements to the correct table rows, asks when anything is unclear, and saves you from manual data transfer.

2The office from the driver's seat

Send a voice message with tasks, priorities, and appointments while you are on the road. Hero Bot adds everything to the right board and calendar, flags conflicts, and reduces coordination with the office.

3From site survey to invoice

Complete the site survey or submission in ProtocolHero, then trigger the next step through your AI client. Hero Bot passes the structured data to invoicing, email, or calendar, avoiding duplicate entry and speeding up invoicing.

4The tireless coordinator

Ask Hero Bot to review and distribute new submissions according to your rules. It assigns owners, adds comments, and posts a concise channel summary, easing recurring office work.

5AI agents as a team

Give several specialised bots separate roles and subtasks for the same job. They coordinate interim results in a thread and provide a shared status, leaving less handoff and coordination work for you.

6The automated 8 a.m. check

Define what a specialised agent should review every morning at 8 and how it should report the results. It runs without another prompt and pauses itself if something goes wrong, easing recurring administrative work.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the Hero Bot

What is the difference between Hero Bot and Hero AI Assistant?
Hero AI Assistant is the integrated assistant inside the app. Hero Bot is a separate workspace member with its own profile, seat, permission setup, and optional MCP token for external AI clients.
Can the Hero Bot see more than the person asking?
No. The effective permission is always the intersection of bot rights and asker rights, so the bot cannot expose protected tasks, boards, or submissions as a workaround.
Which AI clients can control the Hero Bot?
Any MCP-enabled client can connect with a bot token, including Cursor, Codex, Claude, and ChatGPT depending on their available MCP support.
Does the bot execute permanent actions immediately?
Not when caution mode is active. Consequential actions create a clear approval card and run only after confirmation by the person who issued the instruction.
Is the Hero Bot available now?
Yes. Hero Bot is available from the Hero plan. Its scope is being expanded gradually; this page describes only capabilities that have already been built and tested as available.
