Linking fields ensures that master data does not have to be manually typed into the report. Instead, your team can conveniently select entries directly from the database.

Open the Template in the Builder
Open the template where you want to use the master data and navigate to the relevant field.
Connect the Field to the Database
Set the field type to 'Database Selection' and choose the appropriate database, e.g., 'Customers'. Define which field will be displayed as the label.
Define Autofill Fields
Specify which additional fields should be automatically populated in the report upon selection, such as the address or serial number.
Test the Setup
Start a test submission and select an entry from the database. Verify that the linked data is displayed correctly.
